Catch all that I cut away, heads of carrots without
their green tops, onion skins like sheets of music
that brings tears to the eye,
black eyes of potatoes not fit for the the pot,
zucchini stem, paper towel after drying.
Hold my mess for I've got steps to follow,
halls to rooms to fill with the scent of browning
and then bubbling curry, sweet with coconut milk
creamed to swirl into blending, no metal tops
into the garbage bowl compose does not rust
